First off before I write
anything else - let me tell you about the AGM. Place: Britannia Hotel - Coventry Date:- 2nd, 3rd & 4th November 2007. For those who have not been to the Britannia before it is situated in
the centre of town near the cathedral. Bus station is right opposite for
those wanting to go by bus which is really handy. The hotel has offered
to arrange a trip into Stratford for anyone wishing to go - last time
we went there it was cold and windy but enjoyable - so don’t forget
to pack your long johns & string vests. February has now arrived after a very blowy January. The only damage we had to the house were a couple of loose slates and ridge tiles needing sorting out. My flaming greenhouse lost it’s door and several panes of glass were blown out. Am I glad didn’t have to go to sea - the Irish Sea was murder but then it usually is. Still not won on the Lottery although must admit actually got one number this week so things are looking up maybe soon will get another couple and actually get some money back. Don’t forget anyone that wins millions my address is on the site. The Rev. Newton’s wife Mary has been very ill since the New Year has had a bad bout of Pneumonia. Mary is still quite ill but we all hope she improves soon. Our famous laundry man (Topsey ) has been having troubles galore with his E.mail site. So if you haven’t heard from him lately it’s not because he has fallen out with you it’s just been his PC problem. Anyway it has now been sorted out and so he is now up and running ready to annoy one and all. (Only joking Topsey) Jane his daughter is looking forward to her holiday with us all in Spain after Easter she says and will be coming to the AGM in November as well - Good on you Jane. I am still waiting for someone to write and let me have some news and photos to put site. Bill Wright |
