S/M Gordon’s Piece Dear Ed,
As promised a few lines for your newsletter, plus the state of our finances up to the March Reunion

From the Treasurer.>
Balance up to 01-03-09 £ 1567-79
As you can see our finances are still healthy even though we collected no subs last year and I hear that it was voted there would be none this year. Sony that Vivien and I were unable to attend the reunion in Skegness which I hear went down well. We can only hope that we can make it to the next one to meet you all again.
Congratulations to our new Chairman. I am sure you will do a good job.
I hope those of you on the sick list get well and about soon.
Best wishes to all
Vivien & Gordon. Treasurer.
S/M Tony’s Request.
S/M Tony Charles was nominated as the
association Almoner at our last AGM.
Tony wishes to receive from all members up to date e mail and home addresses plus phone numbers. (S/M Tony’s contact particulars on the back page. of this newsletter) (marked *)
This will enable Tony to compile a contact list so he may keep members informed of any shipmate crossing the bar.
If you know of a Shipmate Crossing the Bar, please contact Tony with this information, he will get the message to all possible association members.
Time is so short on these sad occasions, this information may enable the requesting
shipmate’s, who live the near, to represent the association.

Thanks shipmates this is important

RUM TUB. Worthing RNA Christmas “Pusser’ s preparation”. Its done well at Area 3. West Sussex. S/M Tony tells me he will be bringing the Rum Tub along to our next AGM Reunion in Coventry to enable us to partake of our tot before the Gala Dinner on the Saturday, a great idea. (we don’t expect too many fingers in that rum measure Tony) Thanks S/M Tony.

Popping up again S/M’s Tony Charles & Brian Roberts (Robbo) meeting up at the Worthing RNA for their usual run ashore. The snaps below are taken 54 years apart, how time passes,
